Places to Eat in the Spirit Realm


Amusement Park Food Stand

The first place to eat at the Spirit Realm is the amusement park food stand. The food stand is surrounded by a series of beautiful architecture (figure 1) which is a great spot for sight seeing. This makes the food stand a be an ideal spot to get a meal after a long day. Foods you can get there are taiwanese sausages, rice cakes, salted veggies, yams, dumplings, roasted mushrooms, and a variety of snack foods (figure 2).


Second Floor of Yubaba's Bathhouse

Another food spot to visit is on the second floor of Yubaba's Bathhouse. If you enjoyed the onsen like experience at Yubaba's Bathhouse, the second floor is the perfect stop after a nice relaxing bath. Each dining room is full of tatami mats which are seperated by rice paper wooden doors for customers. Tatami mats are soft floor mats used in Japanese homes. This provides guests a chance to experience traditional Japanese dining customs. Moreover, Yubaba's Bathhouse acts as a hotel for spirits, therefore a variety of cusine is prepared in order to satisfy their guests. Some dishes include seafood plates, meat buns, fruits, sushi, tonkatsu, rice and other asian cuisine as depicted in figure 3. The foods are presented and prepped with a luxurious feel which adds another aspect of charm to this trip.


Zeniba's House

The last place to eat in the Spirit Realm, is at Zeniba's House. During a calming train ride across a river, you can reach Zeniba's house which has tea party delicacies found in figure 4. Cakes, cookies, other sweet confections and tea. From biscuts, jam cookies, to puddings, and cheesecakes, Zeniba's house has a wide spread of sweet treats available. Zeniba's house is a comfy and homey cottage, making it the perfect escape for a relaxing evening with friends and family. Not to mention, a great way to end the night with dessert style foods.
